David Francis Dillinger,

David Francis Dillinger, Sr., age 72 of Orient passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Orient on December 16, 1946, a son of Elmer and Emma Jane Porter Dillinger.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Edith Dillinger; son, Harry James Porter; numerous brothers and sisters.

Dave was a member of the Way of Life Apostolic Church in Hiller. He was also an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christine Bella Dillinger; children: David F. Dillinger, Jr of Connellsville, Toni Smith of Brownsville, David Porter of Orient, Tracy Sandy and her husband John of Clarksburg, WV, Brian Porter of Orient; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters: Betty Gustovich and her husband Mike of Warren, OH, Edna Evans of Republic; brothers: Pete Dillinger and his wife, Terri of Republic, James Dillinger and his wife Dixie of Brownsville.

Dave’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Nathan Doss, officiating. Interment will follow in Acklin Burial Park, Brownsville, PA.
