Robert John Liptock, Sr.

Robert John Liptock, Sr., age 87, of New Salem passed away at Generations Elder Care, Inc. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was born on October 1, 1932 in Filbert, PA a son of Andrew and Katherine Olesko Liptock.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Dolly) Crofcheck Liptock; son, Robert J. Liptock, Jr.; brother, Andrew Liptock; sisters: Evelyn Crist, Barbara Liptock, Roberta Shwallon.

Robert is survived by his daughters: Stephanie Liptock and Michelle (Terence) Whalen; Grandchildren: Jamie (Chris) Michaels, Brian Liptock, Rebecca (Thomas) Brinzer, Joseph Whalen; great granddaughters: Evelyn and Elizabeth Brinzer; daughter in law, Joanne (Manchas) Liptock; several nieces and nephews.

Bob was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Uniontown V.F.W. Post 47, Uniontown American Legion 51, Fairbank Rod & Gun Club. He retired from Fruehauf Corp. He was also involved with Filbert Little League, V.F.W., Teener Baseball, Grade School Basketball, and a JV/HS basketball referee. He proudly served his country in the Air Force, being stationed in England during the Korean Conflict.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. November 17, 2019 at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA 15475. Prayers of Transfer will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi (Footedale Worship Site) with Father Thumma Fathimareddy as celebrant. Entombment to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA with Full Military Rights and Honors being accorded by the George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, PA.

The family would like to thank Generations Elder Care, Inc., Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Paul Hartley and staff, neighbors: Bernie and Dave for all the outstanding care given to Bob.
