Agnes B. Lukas, 93, formerly of Republic, PA died peacefully Monday February 3, 2020 at Hillside Manor Personal Care Home in Uniontown, PA where she resided for the past 5 years. She was born December 17, 1926, the daughter of Anna (Matey) Lukas and John Lukas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 4 siblings, John, Marie, Margaret & Joseph. She was employed for 40 years as a nurse’s aid at former Brownsville Hospital where her cheery personality made her a favorite of her coworkers and patients. Agnes is survived by her niece Marie Frenkel and her husband Robert I Frenkel of Mahopac, NY, her niece Deborah Perykasz of Peekskill, NY, her nephew James Bellano of Willimantic, CT, her grand niece Dr. Catherine Frenkel of Charlotte, NC, her grandnephew Gregory Frenkel of Everett, WA, her grandniece Jaclyn Bellano of Hendersonville, NC and her grand niece Jenna Bellano of Haverhill, MA. She will be greatly missed, over and out!

Agnes’ family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA. where prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Saint Francis of Assisi Church, (Footedale Worship Site) with Father William G. Berkey as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Republic, PA.
