Kim Marie (Swartz) Safko, went home to be with Jesus, at the age of 67, on April 15, 2026.
Kim was a graduate of Brownsville Area High School Class of 1976, a member of Calvary Chapel Brownsville, Pa, and was a resident of Dry Tavern, PA.
Her first love was Jesus, but second to that was Lucy, her mini sheltie who brought her great joy and comfort.
Kim was proceeded in death by her father, Harry L. Swartz; her mother, Alfonzina (Footie) Carnicelli; her grandmother Sophie Swartz.
She is survived by her brother, Harry, his wife Diane (Balog) Swartz; niece and nephew: Liz Swartz, Justin and Lisa Swartz; great nephew and niece, Justin and Ava Swartz.
A special heartfelt thank you to her dear friend, Bill Hess, and her caregiver, Stephany Taylor.
The family kindly request that any expressions of sympathy be made as a donation to the Humane Society Green County 183 Jefferson Rd., Waynesburg PA 15370.
In honoring Kim’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Her professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Kish Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., Republic, Pa.
