In Loving Memory of Lillian Hager Marks
On March 31, 2024, Easter Sunday, Lillian Marks, 92, of Isabella a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully joined her beloved late husband, Harry E. Marks, in the arms of the Lord. Lillian's unwavering faith and profound love for her family defined her life's journey.
Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to parents Jasper “Jack” Hager and Kathryn Eicher. Lillian spent nearly her entire life in Isabella until her last months, where she was under the loving care of her son Kenneth L. Marks and his wife Terry and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Marks, and their son, Harry E. Marks Jr., grandson Dylan and granddaughter Molly Marks, brothers Jack and Robert Hager, and sisters Lenora Hager Mayers and Anna Kathryn Hager.
Lillian is survived by her sons Daniel Marks and wife Debbie and Kenneth L. Marks and wife Terry, both of whom she cherished dearly. In addition to this Lillian is survived by her sister Gloria Magerko, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lillian's legacy of love extends through her grandchildren: Shawn Marks and his wife Carol, Jennifer Magnum and her husband Joe, Kenneth M. Marks and his wife Sarah, and Megan Vinson and her husband Gordon. She held a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren: Shawn Z. Marks, Elizabeth Marks, Madelyn Marks, Jack Marks-Rabatin, and Mason Marks-Rabatin. Her love also reached her great-great-grandson, Maddox Siebert.
Lillian's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She found solace in her faith and found purpose in her great children Jack, Mason, Madelyn and Maddox with their frequent visits. Her family meant everything to her, and her love knew no bounds.
Lillian was a life-long senior member of First Christian Church of Republic for over five decades and her faith shaped how she lived her life and treated others. Additionally, she was a long-term member of the local refunding club. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her love, kindness, and grace.
A celebration of Lillian's life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The family request Memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church of Republic in Lillian's honor.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Lillian will always remain a guiding light in our hearts. May her soul rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved Harry, as she walks hand in hand with the Lord.
