Paul L. Sebesky, of Republic, PA, passed away peacefully February 24, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and compassion.

Paul spent his working life in the local coal mines, laboring in various mines throughout the region. He was known for his strong work ethic, resilience, and dedication, these qualities reflected the character of the hardworking community he proudly called home.

A deeply religious man, Paul was a former member of the Cherry Tree Alliance Church in Uniontown, PA. His faith was the cornerstone of his life. He found great joy in sharing his beliefs with others and was passionate about encouraging people in their spiritual journeys. Many in the community will remember Paul as a familiar and friendly face at local Panera Bread location, where he would thoughtfully hand out carefully selected tracts and engage in meaningful conversations. He saw every interaction as an opportunity to share kindness and hope.
Paul was also a devoted sports fan. He enthusiastically supported Pittsburgh’s local teams and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. In addition, he was a loyal fan of the Indianapolis Colts, following their seasons with dedication and excitement.

Paul’s greatest expressions of love was the compassionate care he provided to his mother, Dorothy, until her passing. He cared for her with patience, tenderness, and unwavering devotion. He exemplified what it means to be a loving son and selfless caregiver.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul; his mother, Dorothy; and his two brothers, William and Joseph.
